Hello World
Once again I contritely creep into the world of blogdom. The experiences of the real world have so overwhelmed me that this digital medium of life-sharing has gone ignored and forgotten. But fear not, I am now posting from our new broad band access at home, and with the extensive computer work I shall be doing in the next few weeks, you are sure to get a few choice morsels dropped on occasion... Man, our connection is at 2.2 mbits. For DSL that is awesome. ;-)I downloaded a 1 Mb file in 3.8 seconds...
Anyway, since last you heard from our hero, he has become a member of a new thing in the universal catalogue of things that exist (should I put quotes around that?), by joining in matrymony with the wonderful, beautiful, and in all otherways amazing Katie Fis...oh wait...Guenther! Woo hoo...I still really like that...
We then spent 10 blissful days in Maui going on 40 mile bike rides and swimming in crystal clear, warm tropical oceans.
In the 4 weeks since we've been back, we have visited friends and relatives in Fresno at a lovely reception; we have set up house, throwing away tons of boxes and hanging pictures on the walls; we have spent 2 weeks at Torrey acadamy as mentors asking annoying questions and introducing high schoolers to the dialectic; I have had a birthday, entering my 23rd year, which means I won't really have an exciting birthday again for like 9 years...
To answer my wonderful, patient readers' questions...
I have offered Katie a blog multiple times, but since I can't even get her to Read my blog, we don't think it would be a good use of web real estate, since it would likely never be used. (Well, she says she doesn't read my blog because it never has anything new on it...but I think that is merely an excuse)
Oh, and now I am in ernest about posting more...really, I am...I can hear your e-scepticism from here, but just you wait and see... it will be amazing! That's my story, and I'm sticking with it.
Story developing...

Hi Dustin (and Katie)!
It was fun to see you at the Voss/Unruh wedding this past weekend. I just thought I’d drop by your blog in the hopes of an update (my hopes were, not surprisingly, dashed... apparently married people have more pressing matters than blogging to which they must attend). Anyway, I just spent my lunch break at work looking at all your wedding pictures online (via links from Jon and Libby’s blog). I had looked at some of them earlier in the summer from home, but since my family is still using Stone Age internet technology at home, it’s kinda slow. So now I’ve seen all of them, and they are great. Something about weddings makes people radiant. Yay!
