Frustrating...

Well, Katie and I just got a letter from our landlord saying he was going to raise our rent by $300 next month. He's been doing repairs on our garage and just put in a new lawn, and I guess this raised the value of the apartment by more than 30%...curious. So, now in the middle of semester, Katie and I will need to find some place to move, in a 1 month period. Plus it is highly unlikely that we will be able to find a place as affordable or nice. We are still trying to decide if it is worthwhile to quote the law to him and tell him we have 60 days before he can raise rent by more than 10%.

So, the next couple months have suddenly been turned upside down when we were quite happily situated where we were. If you could pray that God would direct our steps, that would be wonderful...

In Response to “Facts” that are being generated on the Internet

I’ve become aware of particular declarations regarding myself that have begun to appear on the internet. I have seen some of them and have been both amused and bemused by their outlandish claims. I am a student of physics and not psychology, and therefore do not quite understand the purpose certain individuals have found in such activities. However, boys will be boys, or so I have heard through my interactions on the internet, so I am not affronted by these incredulous allegations and will light-heartedly accept their ridiculousness. Perhaps these one-liners will lead people to learn about the true Dustin by reading my poetry and my book that I shall write at some point in the distant future… Perchance, they will even become interested in quantum computing and the great benefits our society might one day reap from such inventions that have yet to be made. I will be very proud if I have something to do with these innovations.
